About SCPT

Mission Statement

The Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists is a self-regulating professional body whose purpose is to protect the public through the licensing, regulation and discipline of physical therapists in the province of Saskatchewan. SCPT derives its mandate from the Act respecting the regulation of Physical Therapists 1998 in the province of Saskatchewan.

Vision Statement  

SCPT:

  1. Is an independent, well-established and organized body with strong stakeholder relationships.
  2. Interacts with all stakeholders through a business model that is financially stable and applies well thought-out and developed policies. 
  3. Promotes knowledgeable members and consumers.
  4. Has a proactive council with a positive attitude and the energy to deal with varying issues in a timely and competent manner.
