Practice Resources
With the adoption and use of the Standards of Practice document, Practice Guidelines will be phased out. The SCPT recognizes that the guidelines provided useful information for certain topics within the profession. With that in mind, Practice Resources have been introduced.
Practice Resources are educational documents for practitioners dealing with broader topics that may involve multiple standards or regulations. These documents will not be binding documents, but rather are educational and aimed to assist practitioners in applying their professional judgment in certain areas of practice. As part of the transition, Practice Guidelines will be renamed Practice Resources until they can be incorporated into new revamped Practice Resources.
